WY Principal of the Year

The Wyoming Association of Secondary School Principals (WASSP) annually honors exceptional leaders with the Principal of the Year and Assistant Principal of the Year awards. These prestigious awards recognize school leaders who demonstrate extraordinary leadership, commitment, and dedication to their students, staff, and school communities.

The selection process begins with nominations from fellow principals across the state, who identify peers that stand out for their ability to inspire, lead, and drive success within their schools. These nominees are individuals who not only excel in their roles but also represent the best of Wyoming, exemplifying the values of integrity, resilience, and community that define our state.

Each year, the winners of these awards showcase what it means to lead with courage and conviction, reflecting the principles of the Code of the West and a relentless dedication to the students and families of Wyoming.

The Principal of the Year and Assistant Principal of the Year winners embody the spirit of our state’s educators, setting a standard of excellence and innovation that drives student achievement and strengthens our schools.
