Students and leaders, apply for scholarships from WASSP.

Scholarships

WASSP now offers two scholarships for member schools and leaders. $500 is offered to a student in a school with WASSP members and $500 is offered to an aspiring leader in WASSP member schools.

Emma Jo Spiegelberg Aspiring Leader Scholarship

$500 scholarship for an educator aspiring to be a school administrator.

Applicants must come from a school where the Principal or Assistant Principal is a WASSP member in good standing.

Applicants need to be registered in a course and/or program leading to an administrative endorsement.

Applications and all letter of recommendation must be submitted in digital format to the Executive Director of WASSP by December 1.

Once selected, the winner will receive a check from WASSP upon proof of registration in a leadership course.

Each application must be accompanied with a letter of recommendation from the WASSP member Principal as well as two other letters of recommendation from teachers or other administrators.  Each application must include a resume from the candidate along with an essay describing why you want to be a school leader.  Application must be submitted in digital format to kgriffith@wassp.org.

Wyoming Association of Secondary School Principals Scholarship

This $500 student scholarship is available for a senior in a Wyoming High School where the Principal or Assistant Principals are members of WASSP. 

Each High School may choose one candidate to submit to the WASSP readers.

Applications and all letter of recommendation must be submitted indigital format to the Executive Director of WASSP by December 1. 

Once selected, the winner will receive a check from WASSP upon proof of registration in post secondary institution as a full time student.

Each application must be accompanied with a letter of recommendation from the WASSP member Principal as well as two other letters of recommendation from teachers or other administrators and a current transcript.

Each application must include an essay written by the student entitled, “What my current educational plan is and why my principal selected me.”
